I feel like meal prep is a pretty hot topic right now. Everyone wants easy healthy meal prep ideas and really, everyone meal prep because it makes eating better for you so easy! Heck, even I do a little meal prep each week and I work from home.
I’ve been really getting into prepping roasted vegetables for the week and it’s been SO nice to have them ready to go when I am hungry and don’t want to wait for veggies to cook to eat!
You know that saying if you fail to plan you plan to fail? It’s SO true, especially when it comes to trying to make healthier choices most of the time (there is always room for non nutritious food in a healthy diet though, remember that!) because you’ll get HANGRY and want food NOW. If you haven’t prepped anything ahead of time, you’ll typically reach for something processed and packaged because it will be quick and easy!
So, I’m sharing 50 healthy meal prep recipes with you! There are recipes from breakfast to dinner and everything in between so there is something for everyone!
Healthy Meal Prep Ideas For The Week
If you don’t have time to actually prep full recipes, there are also just a few “stand alone” things that you can cook and then use to throw together during the week. This is what I do (unless I am actually recipe testing of course!) and then I typically just throw everything together in a bowl and go to town! A few good meal prep ideas are:
- Roasted vegetables
- Crock Pot Sweet Potatoes
- Cook a bunch of chicken in your slow cooker or Instant Pot
- Sweet Potato Toasts
- Sweet Potato Fries (re-heat in the air fryer to make them crispy again)
- Uncooked cauliflower rice
