ALLLL the grilled food! And, more specially, HEALTHY grilled recipes!
You’re gonna need to know what to make for the Fourth of July, what to make for potlucks and, really, what to make to feed your families that DOES NOT require you to turn on the oven amIright? So, I got you COVERED.
All things grilling
I am a huge grilled food person. I would 1000% take a piece of grilled meat over baked meat any day of my life. I love grilled food for a few reasons:
- USUALLY healthier since you don’t need to be cooking it in a lot of oil.
- It comes along with SO many flavor options as there are tons of different marinades you can try!
- JUICIER. I personally feel that grilled meat is A LOT juicier than baked
When making these healthy grilled recipes, there are a few staples that you need to make the most out of your recipe!
- A grill. OBVIOUSLY. I LOVELOVELOVE my weber grill. I used to be intimidated by grilling, but now I am better than Mr.FFF! Just don’t tell him I said that
- A good grilling spray. Don’t use any old cooking spray on your grate or it could burn and leave your food tasting BAD
- Metal Skewers. I much prefer metal skewers to wooden ones, as they don’t require soaking.
- Steel spatula. You’ll need this to flip meat and you definitely don’t want to use plastic
- Steel tongs. Again, you’ll need these for flipping!
Before we get into all the recipes, I thought I would share a SUPER basic grilled chicken recipe. This is my “go to” when I don’t know what to make for dinner because it’s perfect sweet and tangy and goes with SO many side dishes!
