This easy, 3 ingredient snickerdoodle martini tastes like a snickerdoodle cookie! It’s a creamy, healthier and dairy-free cocktail that is perfect to serve on Christmas!
Creamyyyyy, spicayyyy-sweeeet
And BOOZE.
That is what we’re talking about Friday night amIright??
If you want my full honesty though, Mr. FFF and I worked on these spicy-sweet, snickerdoodle-licious adult bevvies on a Wednesday night.
Its times like those when I RLY RLY enjoy being a food blogger.
Aaaaaaaand so does Mr. FFF
To him: taste-testing 5 snickerdoodle martinis to decide which one is more delicious and cookie-like >>>>>> taste-testing paleo breakfast cookies with kale.
Poor guy. He is such a good sport.
BUTBUTBUT, before we decide to throw away single-serve martini glasses because the ONLY way to drink these festive, holiday sips is BY THE BOWL, I have 5 other healthier Christmas cocktail recipes for you from my blogging gals. Here’s what we got:
Lindsay has this Yuletide Moon Holiday Cocktail! A festive holiday cocktail recipe to spice up your party and gatherings! Yuletide Moon is a red wine and bourbon holiday cocktail in an old fashioned glass. Made with cherries, spices, and a bit of maple syrup on the rocks. Tis DIVINE! Get the recipe here.
Lee has these Festive Hot Toddies! Warm your soul with a homemade hot toddy! This adult beverage mixes cinnamon whisky with apple cider and citrus for a delicious winter drink! Get the recipe here.
Gina has this Coconut Bourbon Coffee Nog! This coconut bourbon coffee nog is a cold, creamy, spiced milk drink perfect for the holiday season. Get your booze and caffeine kick at the same time! Get the recipe here.
Brittany has this Sparkling Vodka Cranberry with Lime! A light holiday cocktail made with vodka, cranberry juice, lime and fizzy sparkling water. Toss a few cranberries on top for a festive drink you’ll want to enjoy all season. Get the recipe here.
So many cocktails. Only so many Friday nights. Whhhhhhhiiiiichhhh means I am SRSLY hoping that you plan to be taste-testing all these TONIGHT.
But, back to warm ‘n cozy Christmas cookie-sensations wrapping your mouth in what I can only image a liquid-chunky-sweater might feel like.
Kinda a weird thing to imagine. I know you understand me by now though.
The snickerdoodle addiction started last month, when we sat around, sang happy birthday to me and ate the creamiest gluten free snickerdoodle Greek yogurt cheesecake together. This was also the time when I put our internet-BFF status to the test and told you that that was the FIRST time I had ever even eaten a snickerdoodle.
And, you did not judge me. Which means our internet BFF status? STILL HAPPENING IN HIGH LEVELS OF AWESOME.
Brittany has this Sparkling Vodka Cranberry with Lime! A light holiday cocktail made with vodka, cranberry juice, lime and fizzy sparkling water. Toss a few cranberries on top for a festive drink you’ll want to enjoy all season. Get the recipe here.
Then, it continued in breakfast form on Monday with the eggnog snickerdoodle baked French toast casserole AND eggnog gluten free vegan waffles. Because breakfast cookies-turned-streusel with notes of rich and creamy eggnog?
You’ll get outta bed FO’ THAT.
But if French toast ain’t your THANG, you could also make some gluten-free snickerdoodle pumpkin muffins! Everyone likes pumpkin.
But, I realized we don’t have many cocktails on Food Faith Fitness. The only ones we’ve ever had in almost 4 YEARS are an orange cranberry cocktail with champagne, Maple pumpkin steamed almond milk with bourbon, a peach martini with raspberry and a blended lemon raspberry mojito.
Which is clearly not even close to being enough.
Put that together with my inner need to make-up-for-the-snickerdoodle-depravity that is my WHOLE EXISTANCE and you end up slurping down a creamy, cinnamon-spiced beverage that makes you feel like you’re sitting in Grandmas kitchen eating a cookie STRAIGHT FROM THE OVEN.
Which might be an exaggeration, since cookies from the oven aren’t cold and liquidy.
BUT, I bet you could serve this warm. <–!!!! I’m trying that as soon as we’re done here.
However, I have no brilliant ideas when it comes to how to make a drink not a liquid.
MAYBE you could dip a snickerdoodle INTO snickerdoodle martini to overcome the liquid aspect?
Not even going to lie to you. Mr. FFF and I had leftover snickerdoodles from Monday’s casserole and we have already dipped, dunked and MUNCHED them into many a festive cocktail. So the above “idea” is not really an idea. More like “I-did-this-and-because-we’re-internet-world-BFF’s-I-know-you’ll-like-it-and-you-should-do-it-too.”
RLY though. Even if our true-internet-friend status would have crumbled, I would still tell you to do it.
When does the food math that is cookie + alcohol ever equal BAD LIFE CHOICE?
Exactly. It does NOT.
If you’re sitting around wondering how to spend your Friday evening, I think I just planned it for you.
Whatever you do while drinking aforementioned cocktail is up to you, but I do suggest sipping snickerdoodles while watching Chrsitmas movies in your Pjs.
