No flour, low in carbs, but still all the crisp and crunch of your favorite Chicken Wings!

Keto Chicken Wings served on a plate with a side salad, hot sauce, and sugar-free syrup.

Think it’s impossible to make low-carb chicken wings that are still crispy, crunchy, and taste like the real deal? Think again!

This recipe is a keto dieter’s dream; it’s so simple to make, it’s bursting with flavor, and the juicy meat easily pulls away from the bone. It takes five minutes to prep, and the oven takes care of the rest!

This recipe also focuses on a buttery, spicy sauce that the wings cook in, so if you prefer your wings saucy, you can customize the recipe further and toss them in your favorite wing sauce.

Are Keto Chicken Wings Healthy?

As long as you get high-quality organic meat, this recipe is an easy “win” for health and flavor. It’s gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free, making it suitable for multiple kinds of dietary needs, including the keto diet.

There are no hidden additives or processed carbs here; what you see is what you get, and what you see is a wholesome version of addictively delicious takeout wings!

Plus, you can make these wings even healthier by tossing them in a homemade herby dressing, introducing more nutrients to the dish alongside a pop of green.

What Does “Keto” Mean?

The term “ketogenic” refers to a diet that focuses on a low amount of carbohydrates and a high amount of protein and fat. Following this diet puts your body into a state of ketosis, where it swaps to burning fat for energy instead of carbohydrates.

Cutting out ultra-processed foods and sugary foods in favor of the more natural options is also a main theme of this diet, and as a result, it can help people balance their blood sugar and lose weight.

These chicken wings are considered keto-friendly because they are low in carbs and are completely sugar-free.

How to Make Ahead and Store

The beauty of this recipe is that you can prep it in advance. Coat the chicken wings with sauce and store them in the refrigerator overnight, leaving them to soak in full-fledged flavor – they will be even better if you do this!
Leftovers that are already cooked can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. If they’re frozen, make sure to thaw the wings in the refrigerator overnight before reheating. To reheat, bake them in an oven-safe dish at 450°F for 5 to 10 minutes.

Serving Suggestions

While the side dish options for these wings are plentiful, I’ve narrowed the list down to a couple of big winners that you can take to your next picnic or pizza party.

To keep the keto theme going, try this Keto BBQ Sauce for dipping your wings in – it takes only ten minutes to make and is velvety sweet! On a similar wavelength, this Low-Carb Crustless Pizza is a unique and delicious dish that uses egg whites as a base. Lastly, for a burst of fresh greens, pair your wings with a side of this Keto Broccoli Salad.
