I have over 10 years of experience writing in a wide array of industries, from food to fashion, aviation to industrial lighting, interior design to non profits. Much of my work has been featured in Akron Life magazine, a local print lifestyle publication, where I served as an Editorial Associate for four years and continue as a freelance contributor. This work lets me flex my interview skills while celebrating the diverse weirdness of my beloved hometown.

My favorite types of writing focus on people and food—whether it’s a profile of a CEO or a play-by-play of an attempt at cooking a new recipe. I also work with a few local authors, helping them compile, complete, or elevate their book manuscripts. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me burning up local ballroom dance floors, sampling new restaurants, or traveling the globe.
