This easy 3-ingredient cocktail tastes like the classic cookie we all know and love!

Creamy, spiced, sweet, and boozy! If that already sounds good for a cookie-themed cocktail, then here’s the kicker: It’s actually made with only three ingredients and an ideal excuse to get out the martini glasses, or try out the mini-martini craze by serving it in pretty, little sherry or cordial glasses.

So what exactly is a snickerdoodle? If you’ve never met one (really?), it’s a wonderfully soft, chewy cookie with big flavors of butter and cinnamon. Some consider them the ultimate comfort food cookie, and although they’re often baked at Christmas, they’re pretty popular year-round.

This martini takes the cinnamon and butter themes into the mix and adds in the cookie-and-milk combo with a hit of almond milk, although you could use your favorite plant-based or dairy milk as well. Nothing would beat sipping snickerdoodle martinis while watching Christmas movies in your PJs, but you could also use them as an elegant pre- or post-dinner cocktail for date night or a dinner party—they’re that irresistible!

Is This Snickerdoodle Martini Healthy?

While it’s difficult to call any cocktail healthy, this martini has a few advantages over other sweet dessert-style martinis. It’s relatively low in fat, calories, and sugar compared to similar cocktails, many of which contain cream and sugar syrups. And while most straight-up martinis are made with about two and a half ounces of hard alcohol, this one has just one and a half ounces per serving. Mini-martinis are also a great way to enjoy a less-is-more bar trend; try it out by pouring the martini mixture into four smaller glasses for a treat that will taste just as satisfying but leave you lighter and clearer.

How To Garnish A Great Snickerdoodle Martini

If you’re serving these cocktails for dessert, the ultimate garnish has to be a real snickerdoodle cookie perched on the rim. You can buy the cookies (look for smaller-sized ones that won’t overshadow the glass) or make your own. The FFF recipe Gluten-Free Vegan Snickerdoodles is an excellent way to keep the plant-based theme going. Another sweet garnish is a rim of sparkling cinnamon sugar. Just mix sugar with cinnamon in a shallow bowl, dip the rim of the glasses in almond milk, and then twirl them in the cinnamon sugar until they have a lovely coated rim. But easiest of all? Pop a cinnamon stick into each as a fragrant addition that also doubles as a stirrer.

How Do I Store Leftovers?

Like all other cocktails, this one is best served fresh. That said, you can keep it for up to 24 hours, making sure to shake well again before serving.

Serving Suggestions

Maple-Pumpkin Steamed Almond Milk With Bourbon is an excellent drink for anyone who can’t get enough pumpkin spice. And a Peach Martini With Raspberry is an amazing celebration of peach season.
