The party won’t start until you serve this delicious Pizza Dip!

Pizza Dip

A tasty twist on a classic American deep dish pizza, this recipe is both dangerously delicious and super easy to make. As someone who hosts a lot of get-togethers, my list of go-to finger foods, drinks, and fun dips like this one seems to keep growing. When I came across this recipe, I was instantly sold. I mean, who doesn’t like pizza? Now imagine it in dip form! I knew it would be a hit. And I was right, because it’s always one of the first dishes to disappear.

With its rich, cheesy goodness and the subtle spiciness of the pepperoni, this pizza dip is hard to beat. Packing the same flavor and warmth as a homemade pizza (but without all the hassle of making dough), this dip goes well with baguette slices, crackers, or even a selection of wholesome veggies. Try it out for your next potluck or gathering!

Is This Pizza Dip Healthy?

If only! Chock-full of cheese and topped with pepperoni, this dish is full of saturated fat and is definitely one to eat in moderation. Of course, you could make it a little healthier by using low-fat cheese and pepperoni, but bear in mind that the results won’t be as decadent. Instead, make sure to serve the dip with healthy dippables such as whole-wheat breadsticks and crisp veggies.

Using vegan cheese replacements is not recommended, as this may affect the texture. You could, however, use a plant-based “pepperoni” to make the dish vegetarian-friendly.

The Most Delectable “Dippables”

For a delightful experience with this fun dip, feel free to experiment with a wide range of raw veggies or crackers instead of the classic baguette option. When it comes to veggies, great options include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, bell pepper, or even celery. Besides the whole-wheat breadsticks mentioned above, you could try whole-grain crackers or even pita slices. If you’re going the classic baguette route, maximize the Italian-American pizzazz by making garlic bread to dip instead of just having plain slices.

How Do I Store Leftovers?

Leftovers will last in a refrigerated airtight container for up to 4 days. When you’re ready to reheat it, do so in an oven-safe dish at 325°F for 10-15 minutes.

Serving Suggestions

Aside from the “dippables” I’ve already recommended, I suggest pairing this appetizer with a unique hors d’oeuvre: Easy Breaded Cauliflower. This dish is simple, flavorful, and healthy, offering a nice balance to the dip as an alternative to wings or French fries.

If you’re craving more meat, however, feel free to make these Air-Fryer Garlic And Parmesan Chicken Wings and let the party begin! Talk about a match made in heaven.
