Craft a buttery, cheesy chicken dish unlike any other—it’s low-carb but full of flavor.

Keto Crack Chicken baked in a white dish, topped with melted cheese, bacon, and fresh herbs.

Has anyone ever told you that making a delicious keto dish is too difficult? Well, they’re clearly mistaken, because this simple yet dynamic recipe proves them wrong. Keto crack chicken is a tasty combo of tender, juicy chicken breast topped with melted creamy cheese and crispy bacon. With so much flavor and a satisfying array of textures, this dish isn’t just easy to make—it’s also easy to enjoy!

Whether your loved ones abide by the ketogenic diet or not, it’s likely they’ll drool over this main dish because of how buttery and rich it is. Not only that, but it’s also fairly customizable, even if you need to keep it keto. Don’t like pork bacon, but craving a similar effect? Try turkey bacon instead. Otherwise, you can remove the bacon altogether and pile on some extra parsley for garnish.

Additionally, this dish goes great with many different kinds of sides. So if you are able to skip the “keto” part, feel free. Although this dish is labeled as keto, it can be a great option for all meat-and-cheese lovers.

Ingredients for Keto Crack Chicken: raw chicken breasts, bacon, shredded cheese, cream cheese, butter, and herbs.

What makes this recipe keto?

The ketogenic diet is defined by its low-carb, high-fat profile with a medium to high amount of protein. Keto crack chicken follows this definition nicely, with a balance of protein and fat from the chicken, bacon, and cheese. Without any breading as a stuffing or topping, this dish is perfect for anyone who wants to try a ketogenic dish.

How do I store leftovers?

First, make sure your leftover crack chicken has cooled slightly. Then, transfer it to an airtight container—layering the chicken between pieces of baking parchment if necessary—and refrigerate for 2-3 days. To reheat, bake in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, until it’s completely warm.

Serving suggestions

Crafting a lip-licking, yummy ketogenic meal for your loved ones? Pair keto crack chicken with fresh and creamy Keto Coleslaw, crispy Keto French Fries, Keto Onion Rings, or Low-Carb Keto Creamed Spinach. On the other hand, if you don’t need every single dish to be keto, consider dishing out crack chicken with Bone Broth Rice, Garlic Noodles, or Potato Rolls.
