This refreshing Cucumber-Mint Water is your go-to thirst quencher for summer.

Getting enough water in a day is not my strong suit. At all. Plain water is fine, but it’s not exactly exciting. I’d much rather reach for coffee or something fizzy, which isn’t ideal for keeping hydrated. My husband, Mr. FFF, is even worse—he practically runs on coffee alone. The only time he willingly drinks water is if it’s disguised with coconut water in a tropical white moscato sangria or buried under blueberries in a mojito.

Then I made this cucumber-mint water with a hint of fresh lime, and everything changed. I didn’t expect much when I threw a few slices and sprigs into a pitcher, but now he’s actually asking me to make it. It’s crisp, refreshing, and tastes like something you’d get at a fancy spa—except you don’t need to book an appointment or shell out half your paycheck.

The best part is that it couldn’t be easier to throw together. Just slice, stir, and let it chill. If you’re feeling extra fun, a little splash of white rum turns it into the perfect low-key cocktail.

Is Cucumber-Mint Water Healthy?

Water is SO important for our overall health. It helps transport nutrients and oxygen throughout our bodies, regulates our body temperature, lubricates our joints, maintains our blood pressure, and has so many other critical functions. The trouble is, some people just don’t like drinking plain water. This is the perfect solution to getting your hydration fix. The all-natural mix-ins of cucumber, mint, and lime provide flavor with zero added sweeteners, preservatives, calories, or artificial ingredients. If you’re struggling to get your H2O down, this is a serious health hack.

A Refreshing Trifecta

On a scorching hot day, I crave something that will perk up my senses and cool me down. The trio of cucumber, mint, and lime in this flavored water recipe is the perfect combo to achieve that effect.

Cucumber has a subtle crispness and mild sweetness that creates the perfect backdrop for flavored water. Then, you have the lime adding a bright pop of acidity and the mint tying it all together with a cooling, slightly sweet flavor. Each ingredient perfectly complements the others without being overpowering. It’s like they were made to be in the same pitcher together!

How Do I Store Leftovers?

Now that you’ve got a pitcher full of refreshing, healthy, and delicious cucumber water, you’re all ready to hang in the yard with your crew and sip away! You can store this flavored water in the fridge for up to 2 days. Note that after a few days, the cucumbers and mint will start to go soggy.

Serving Suggestions

Embrace all things warm weather by serving a pitcher of cucumber-mint water alongside a refreshing lunch. A light Spring Salad, some Hamachi Sashimi, and some Prosciutto And Melon are all perfect bites for a sunny afternoon.

Hi, this sounds delicious! Can it be frozen, in ice cube trays, then added to water?
