These Salmon Bites are a simple and delicious snack, or a protein-packed addition to your main meal.

As a Jewish woman who grew up in Southern California, it goes without saying that I love seafood! I say it all the time, but I really should not have to!
I was practically raised on sushi, lox, and poke. I used to say that if I could find a way to enjoy fish for every meal (and snacks in between) I probably would. That is how I made this recipe for air fryer salmon bites; they’re the perfect way to get delicious, crispy, and bite-sized salmon for any occasion.
I have found myself putting salmon bites on salads and pasta dishes as well as eating them by themselves as a quick meal or snack. Taking less than twenty minutes to prepare and cook, you are going to love this recipe.

Are Air-Fryer Salmon Bites Healthy?
Salmon bites are a great source of lean protein, they have low carbohydrate levels and are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The salmon bites are cooked in the air fryer which is generally considered a healthier cooking method as it does not require excessive oils and fats.
The seasoning for the salmon bites is very simple and basic, and dried spices contain very few calories. There is no gluten present in this recipe, which makes it ideal for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

How To Choose a Good Salmon Fillet
Whether you are buying a full salmon to prepare yourself or just the fillets, there are several characteristics you should always look for.
The first way to know if your salmon fillet is quality is odor; you do not want your fish to smell too fishy. The longer the salmon has sat, the more the cells of the fish continue to break down making the smell stronger and letting you know it is not good quality.
The second way to tell a quality fillet is color; the flesh should be vibrant and moist with a rich pink tone and the skin should be consistent. Finally: the texture. When you push your finger against the fillet, it should snap back to position quickly. If the indent remains then the fillet is not good quality.
If you are choosing your own salmon at the fishmongers, make sure the eyes are not milky and that they are bright with dark pupils. The brighter the eyes the fresher the fish.

How To Make Ahead And Store
If you would like to store leftover salmon bites, put them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat your salmon bites, put them back in the air fryer at 350°F and cook for a few minutes until warmed throughout. Just be sure to keep an eye on your salmon bites so you do not overcook them.
Serving Suggestions
When serving your salmon bites, it can be as simple as putting them over steamed Sushi Rice or Brown Rice, or you can use them as the protein element of another recipe.
I like to top my salad with them, such as this Spiralized Cucumber Salad with Chia Seed Strawberry Vinaigrette. You can also make them a great addition to a summer pasta salad, like this Healthy Pasta Salad with Strawberries, Zucchini and Balsamic Vinegar.

These are worth trying. Our air fryer is one with levels of wire racks so hopefully will cook ok without flipping or shaking. Dos anyone have a suggestion for a dip or sauce to go with them? Thanks
They are certainly worth trying! You can try them with avocado crema or tzatziki.
