With just one taste of this vibrant peach salsa, I’m instantly transported to a tropical seaside paradise. Whether you’re tropical-dreaming or actually beachside reading this, let’s bring the fresh taste of sun to your bowl by creating this delectable peach salsa together.

Truthfully, I have not always been a fan of salsa. I am quite picky and always opt for the guacamole over the salsa when presented with the two. With that said, this peach salsa has me rethinking my lackluster enthusiasm for the popular dip. Simply put, this salsa is delicious. It’s versatile, tasting as fantastic on chips as it does dolloped on tacos, quesadillas, fish, or meat. It offers a robust mix of sweet and spicy flavors, making it a hit amongst those with an aversion to spicy salsas. The natural sweetness comes from the peaches, whereas the spice comes from the jalapeño. Depending on your tolerance, you can adjust the heat or the sweetness according to your preference. This recipe allows for other variations, too. Mix in or replace the peaches with fruits like pineapple, strawberries, or my personal fave: mango!

Is This Peach Salsa Healthy?

Thanks to fresh, nutrient-rich ingredients, this salsa can be an excellent addition to a healthy diet. The peaches, red onion, lime juice, jalapeño, and cilantro all carry their own when it comes to vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Additionally, the recipe does not call for oil, and you can always adjust the amount of salt according to your preference. Overall, the combination of these fresh ingredients and the recipe’s adaptability makes this salsa a nutritious hit.

Favorite Variations For This Delectable Salsa

Experiment with adding diced avocado for a smooth texture, sweet corn for a summery touch, or minced chipotle chilis for extra spice. You can also grill the peaches for a smoky flavor. Ingredients

  • 3 large peaches diced
  • 1 medium red onion finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine diced peaches, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
