How exercise is now energizing me and promoting my health and how a new plant based protein is helping support my goals!

BIG NEWS!!

If you guys follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I took the last 9 months off the gym. As someone who loves the gym and moving my body and feeling strong, this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

And, I get questions about it a lot as many of you have wondered why I took that time off.

I couldn’t miss a day. I freaked out if people slowed me down. I HAD to go even when I was too tired or even sick.

So, I really don’t even call what I was doing “exercise” anymore. Because it wasn’t movement promoting health.

And that is why I stopped.

And now I have a positive relationship with exercise. More so than I could have ever even imagined!

Exercise now feels amazing to me! I sleep so much better. I feel like my brain is clear and focused and I have SO MUCH energy it is unreal.

I actually FEEL healthy and feel like I am actually working towards true health goals now and that exercise is really increasing my health.

I also have more energy to do active things outside of the gym, which is something I never had.

I’m enjoying bike rides with my husband and going for walks, just because it feels amazing to move my body and I have the energy to do it.

So, I’m listening to my body with exercise and REALLY making sure to fuel it well and support all the hard work I have done to get back to health!

And, that is where Ensure Plant-Based Protein comes in!

I actually have a history with Ensure, as I drank it daily while I was recovering in the hospital. It’s familiar and holds a special place in my heart.

So, when I found out about their new on-the-go lifestyle drink option I was PUMPED! You guys know that I am not exclusively plant-based, but I am always trying to find new ways to be more plant-based and this new shake is perfect for me to bring on the go to sip right after my workout to fuel, nourish and support my body as it gets back into moving!

Plus, Mr. FFF is dairy-free and always looking for quick, protein-packed drinks that he can drink after workouts or just running from operating room to operating room to give him the energy to keep, you know, saving lives.

It’s helping us both prioritize our health with busy schedules, keeping our bodies nourished and keeping our taste buds happy because both flavors – Chocolate and Vanilla – taste great!

Ensure Plant-Based Protein is 100% plant-based, has 20g (!!!!) of nondairy protein from a blend of fava bean and pea, has non-GMO ingredients, and is free from soy, artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.

So, YEA. I’m really loving this plant-based goodness!

No matter what kind of busyness life throws at ya, you know that you can always keep a little protein in your back pocket to get you through!
