What are the best Healthy Easter Desserts? 

It’s impossible to think of Easter without thinking of sweet, festive treats! I’m talking chocolate easter eggs, sweet easter bread, and OF COURSE the infamous carrot cake! You’re going to love my roundup of easy healthy Easter dessert recipes and all your guests for Easter dinner will, too! There’s something for everyone, including the little ones! So which is the BEST dessert on the list? I’ll leave that up to you-try them all and let me know which one takes the cake!

Healthy Swaps 

When coming up with some Healthy Desserts for Easter Dinner, you know that you want them to be delicious and beautiful! Did you know you CAN in fact have scrumptious, adorable Easter treats that also include better-for-you ingredients!? YUP, you heard right! Here are a few run-of-the-mill ingredients in my recipes that I swapped out for healthier alternatives:

  • Butter: Instead of butter, I often use coconut oil in my recipes. This not only provides healthy fat, but also makes some of my recipes dairy free for those who are lactose intolerant or simply aiming to avoid dairy products!
  • Sugar: White sugar is a must have for many desserts, especially at Easter time! I often swap it out for coconut sugar, which still gives the sweetness you need in a more healthy format!
  • White Flour: This is another ingredient that MANY baking recipes call for. To keep my recipes protein and healthy fat packed, gluten free and low carb, I often opt for almond flour or coconut flour in my Healthy Dessert Recipes for Easter instead!

Healthy Easter Desserts and Dinner Pairings

OK, so now that we have our Easter dessert spread sorted, you can check that off your list and figure out what to eat for dinner! Here are some recipes I recommend that would be delicious before you finish off with these insane desserts!

Baked Balsamic Goat Cheese Stuffed Pomegranate Chicken is SO delish and is a great protein option to serve at your Easter dinner! Vegan Stuffed Butternut Squash would make a fab side dish to this chicken at your Easter meal, and throw together a pomegranate persimmon salad to finish it off! After dinner, serve up each of your guests a Mini Gluten Free Carrot Cake and call it DONE! Your guests will be full, satisfied and IMPRESSED by what a bomb cook you are!
