Air Fryer Potato Chips - These EASY Air Fryer Potato Chips are perfectly crispy and crunchy and only use 2 ingredients! You'll never believe they are healthy, vegan, gluten free and only 75 calories for a large serving! | #Foodfaithfitness | #Glutenfree #Airfryer #Healthy #Vegan #CleanEating

You know I love a good kitchen gadget, and out of ALL my appliances, the air fryer has to be one of my favorites. Many excellent meals can be made in the air fryer, but you can even use it to make potato chips! Imagine that—chips that look beautiful and are made with minimal effort! For me, a self-proclaimed potato chip connoisseur, this recipe was quite the revelation. It may just have fueled my addiction even more because I find myself making these air-fryer potato chips quite often these days!

What if I told you that these chips are not only crispy and delicious, but they are also made with no funky ingredients? Give these a try, and I promise you’ll never go back to store-bought chips again.

Are These Air-Fryer Potato Chips Healthy?

Low in calories and fat, you better believe it! Potatoes are a good source of fiber, and because these chips aren’t deep-fried, you can snack to your heart’s content without worrying about unhealthy fats. What’s also great is that you can control the amount of salt. Low-fat, low in calories, and low in salt—not many store-bought chips can say that!

Can I make Air-Fryer Potato Chips with any kind of potato?

Absolutely! Though there’s nothing wrong with the humble white potato, it’s not the only potato deserving of our love! Try this recipe with sweet potatoes or even purple potatoes. Not only are these varieties healthy, but they’re also incredibly delicious. And why not try a mix of different potatoes? In fact, you could even try this recipe with other root vegetables, such as carrots or parsnips!

How to Make Ahead And Store

These crispy potato chips are easy to make and easy to store! Leave them out to crisp up on the counter overnight after you make them, and then transfer them to either an airtight container or a Ziploc bag. They will last this way for about 1 week.

Serving Suggestions

This is the BEST of all air-fryer potato chip recipes! Now that we know how to make them, let’s think up some delicious mains to serve with them! Chicken goes great with potatoes, so I recommend cooking some Air-Fryer Chicken Nuggets or Crispy Breaded Chicken In An Air Fryer and some yummy dipping sauce to go with these chips. If you want to keep the air fryer theme going strong, add a side of Air-Fryer Roasted Asian Broccoli, and call it a meal!

Serves: 4 Servings
Prep: 5 minutes minutes
Cook: 10 minutes minutes
Total: 15 minutes minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 large russet potato, very thinly sliced (about 1/16 of an inch)
  • 1 spray grapeseed oil cooking spray  or any high-heat oil spray, not olive oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Use a paper towel to lightly press out just a little bit of the moisture from the potatoes slices.
  • Spray the mesh basket of your air fryer with the oil spray and place the potatoes in a single layer inside. You will have to do this in batches.
  • Spray the tops of the potatoes with the oil and sprinkle with salt. Turn your air fryer to 350°F and cook until the edges of the potatoes are crispy and the potatoes are golden brown, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Remove the chips from the air fryer and let cool.
  • DEVOUR!
