Happy Sunday friends!
I hope your week has been great! It’s been pretty busy over here!
I don’t have oodles of things to share today. You remember last Sunday reflection where I told you I was seeing a counselor yes? That has been so great, and I am continuing to make strides in getting rid of the mental bondage that I have with food! It’s a little bit like “two steps forward, one step back” but it’s nice to see that freedom is waiting for me!
Something that has been really helping me in this area is having some “go to” scripture verses that I can repeat in my mind when the enemy gets his ugly itself in my thoughts and tries to turn them away from God’s truth.
SO, I thought I would share what those verses are! I usually go through these all at once in my head at least once a day so that I remember them. Then, I have a few written on post-it notes throughout my kitchen (since they happen when I am in the kitchen and near food) and then I also just mentally pull from them when I am having a scary thought episode!
I hope these help you too!
