This Quick At Home Partner Workout is an easy way to get a workout in during busy seasons! Grab a partner and get your booty burning!

Can you believe Christmas is less than 2 weeks away!

Mr. FFF and I will be heading to Canada for 2 WEEKS on Monday and we could not be more excited, since we only see my family once or twice per year!

Because of that, the last thing that we want to be doing is spending hours of our day driving to gyms to get a workout in. We want to be able to be present and spend as much time as POSSIBLE with the family, which is where this quick, at-home workout comes into play!

Bonus points that you can do this with your spouse, sibling, parents, or anyone you can grab this holiday season!

All you need is two people (which should be easy with all the family we see this time of year!) and any kind of ball. If you have a weighted medicine ball, that will get you the hardest workout. But even something like a volley ball will work!

Here’s the workout:

Exercise 1 Wheelbarrow Pushups

One person holds the other persons feet in the air. The person on the ground does pushups until they fail (can do no more) then switch!

Exercise 2 Ball Throw and Pass with A Squat

Stand facing each other. One person squats then pushes up to throw the ball overhead, using their shoulders. The other catches it and lands in a squat. Repeat until each person has thrown the ball 15 times

Exercise 3 Squat Side Rotations with Ball Pass

Stand back to back and then get into a squat position. One person holds a ball at their chest then rotates their torso to the pass it to the side to the other person. The other person passes it around their other side back to them, and they both stay squatting the whole time. Repeat until you can’t hold the squat any longer. This gets TOUGH.

Exercise 4 Partner Sit Ups with Ball Pass

Lay on back in a sit up position, each person’s toes touching the other persons. One person holds a ball at their chest and then both people sit up. The person passes the ball to the other and they lay back down. Repeat until each person has 10 sit ups.

Exercise 5 Partner Planks

One person goes into a plank position. The other person side jumps over them, landing in a squat, 10 times (jumping over and back is one round). Then the other person does it for 10-15 rounds.

Repeat the workout 3-4 times, with as little rest as possible between exercises and sets.

Bonus move: Cardio killer

If you’ve done the workout 3-4 times and need some more intensity then do 20 burpees followed by 30 squats then, pushups to fail, followed by 30 mountain climbers.

Boom! You just got a killer workout in no time flat!

You know what this workout would also be good for? New years resolutions! I know many of you resolve to get back into workouts and this would be the perfect way for you and a friend to get your workout on, without having to devote tons of time!

Plus, doing your workout with a partner  is a little “fitness hack” to help ensure success with your goals and keep each other motivated all year long! This means, you’ll actually follow through and stick to your workout plan!
