Bringing God into your weight loss journey is the key to long-term success! This prayer for weight loss will help you do so!

If you’re a Christian woman you are probably used to praying for the standard things: your kids, your job, your husband, peace etc.

But have you every prayer for your weight loss journey?

Most Christian women don’t realize that health, and especially weight loss, can be VERY Christ centered. And, in fact, if you want lasting results, it SHOULD be.

In fact, if you don’t bring Him in, you can quickly turn to idolizing weight loss, or idolizing your body looking a certain way, which is not what the Lord wants!

Helping Christian women lose weight in a way that feels good and honors God is what I do through my Body, Mind and Soul Method and I want to help you do that too!

These verses prove that God strengthens us and will help us, yet so many women don’t realize that this also applies to your weight loss journey!

 If you want to achieve true, lasting weight loss there are a few things you should do, of course, like track your food intake, move your body and manage your sleep and stress, but you should also make sure you are bringing God into your journey.

A great way to do this is to start your day with a prayer and I have a prayer for weight loss to share with you!

Dear Lord, I pray for strength to implement the changes in my life that need making and to STICK to them. Help me to not start strong and then fizzle out and want to turn back to comfort when the going gets hard. I want to honor your temple the way you want me too! Help me to be steadfast and to just MOVE ON when I want to give up and give in and go back to my old ways. Help me to do EVERYTHING for your glory – the “spiritual stuff” and my day-to-day stuff. I want to bring you into every aspect of my life so please show me areas that I need to welcome you into. Help me to see when I am idolizing weight and body at the expense of you and help me to allow this realization to allow me to walk into a deeper relationship with you. Help me to see the ways that I have not cared for my body in how I eat In the past and to go forward in a whole new way that honors you! In these things I pray, Amen!

I can’t wait for you to bring the Lord into your journey!
