Let’s talk about summer.

I know, it’s been officially summer for over a month now so you are thinking that I am WAY late to the party.
Would that really surprise you?
How-ev-er, today I want to play a game. A game called “What do you think of when I say summer?”
Yes, the game is also the title of the game.
Are you confused? Just answer the question, that is in the title, and then you’ve completed the game.
I really need to stop saying the word game. I’m confusing myself.
Anyway.

So, what did you think of? I know that I think of sun, strawberry daiquiris, the beach, volleyball (except only how much I hate it) and all kinds of other SUPA fun things.
You know what I don’t think of? The fact that it means that schedules have to shift due to vacations, kids (if you have those things) being out of school and trying to make more time for above mentioned fun-o-rama activities.
I don’t know about you, but I am a creature of habit (hello-oatmeal-everyday-for-all-the-days) and when things don’t happen as I am used to, it throws my brain right off the deep end. SPLASH.
Especially in terms of diet. With going away, or seeing friends more, I struggle to make sure that I am getting enough protein.

And, ya’ll KNOW how I feel about protein. I would marry it. If that wasn’t weird.
You’re judging me.
But, guess what! Silk just made it a heckofa lot easier!
It ain’t no secret that this girl loves her almond milk, and now that Silk has launched new Almond Milk Protein + Fiber, that love has turned into an obsession.
Yes, in a totally creepy, obsessive kind of way.

The Huberoni and I have been loving incorporating it throughout our day to get those few extra, ninja-like protein grams that we need.
Mr. FFF LURVES adding it his protein smoothies after the gym to take the protein level from here –> HERE!!
And, I think that it makes one bomb diggity cup of “make me human” in the morning (sidenote: that is what we call coffee in the FFF household.)
You know what? I also made Mr. FFF a bowl full of cereal (you know that is his THANG) using the almond milk, and he LIKED IT BETTER THAN REGULAR MILK.
You guys, I never thought that I would see the day.
I am proud to say that both our taste buds finally agree on something: Protein + Fiber can taste gooood.

If you struggle like me, make sure to check out the awesome new Silk Almond Milk Protein + Fiber on Facebook – there’s even an ultra-fab coupon!
Seriously. Do it.
