Paola has a rich portfolio of work, contributing regularly to myriad publications including Reader's Digest, The Holland Herald, FRANCE Magazine, En Route, and respected gastronomy journal Bouillon. Her writing often focuses on exploring the culinary and viticultural landscapes of France, but her curiosity extends past the French hexagon.
Originally from the United States and dividing her time between the Netherlands and France since 1997, Paola is a graduate of Leiden University, where she studied Dutch language and culture, specializing in the art of the Golden Age. She also studied at the School of Journalism in Utrecht. Her profound knowledge of the Netherlands is reflected in her work as the editor-in-chief of DUTCH, a North American magazine about the Netherlands, and high-end inflight magazine, Discover Benelux. She has translated for leading publications such as Het Parool, Kosmos Publishers, and The Low Countries.
