Hiya friends!

As you know, Mr. FFF and I recently spent 2 weeks in Spain and Portugal and it was AMAZING. It was our first time in Europe and definitely not our last. I actually want to move there haha! Of course, I don’t think that will ever happen.

I shared a LOT of photos on Instagram Stories as I was there, but I know not everyone follows me there. So, I wanted to share a bunch of photos here too!

We ate so much amazing food and I was so inspired by all of it! I plan to do a week or two series where I make (or remake) some of our favorites! Probably in a month or so! So stay tuned for that 🙂

Here’s more-than-a-few photos! 🙂

The beautiful gothic quarter in Barcelona /  The gothic cathedral in Barcelona

So much character in the streets!

Mr. FFF <3

Whenever you got a drink, you got a free tapa!

This is an adorable city in Portugal called “Aveiro.” There are a bunch of canals in the city.

One of our fav meals, Cuttlefish “noodles” with pesto / more inside the Gothic Cathedral

We hiked up to the Monastary Montserrat in Barcelona

One of Gaudi’s famous parks in Barcelona

Adorable streets in Madrid

More Monastary pics / our new favorite breakfast: toasted bread with tomato and olive oil. We usually added cured ham too!

Had to go to Taylor’s Port Cellar in Porto, Portugal!

This train station in Porto is voted the prettiest in the World. The tiling is gorgeous!

The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona (another Gaudi building)

<3 <3 <3

We went on a bike ride in Madrid and then had Paella for lunch

The bookstore that the Library in Harry Potter is designed after – Porto, portugal.

Our first (of many) sangrias!

Cordoba was our favorite! The streets were gorgeous in the Jewish district! / The prettiest Arabic styled Catholic Mosque in Cordoba

Our favorite pastries: buttery and flaky croissant outsides with cured ham and cheese on the inside

We backpacked! Was very heavy!

One of your fav meals – scrambled eggs with cod and leeks. Sounds odd, but SO tasty

The best gelato I ever had  –  toasted pistachio with mascarpone caramel nut

Cordoba had a lot of Roman-like architecture

A delicious toast with cured ham, brie cheese, arugula and balsamic reduction.

Beautiful streets of the Jewish district in Cordoba

A traditional Portuguese pastry: pastel de nata. SO GOOD.

Porto, Portugal was amazing. SO CUTE.

Biking in the big park in Madrid called “El Retiro”

He finally had Spanish churros and was SO happy / AMAZING spaghetti squash pie in Cordoba.

Tasty pesto zucchini with macadamia nuts. Probably the only veggies I ate all trip ?

Riding a Gondola in Aveiro, Portugal was super fun!

And, if you need any help planning a Euro-trip, we used Deeper Meaning Travel and he was super helpful! He can help you anywhere you live due to the internet 🙂
