This sweet and creamy Oreo Milkshake only requires three simple ingredients!

Oreo Milkshake

This decadent delight reminds me of Halloween and slumber parties, mainly because my mom wasn’t too keen on Oreos. So whenever I had them, it was usually during a sleepover at a friend’s house or during the Halloween season. The creamy inside shifted from white to orange and showed up at just about every school party or gathering.

Ever since then, I’ve always had a special place in my heart (and tummy) for Oreos. Their creamy layer and crunchy cocoa exterior are hard to resist. I know that they aren’t healthy, but it’s okay to indulge once in a while. And one of the best ways to enjoy this classic cookie is in an Oreo milkshake!

What’s great about this milkshake is not only its ease of preparation but also its versatility. There are so many delicious ways to make it your own!

Are Oreo Milkshakes Healthy?

Oreos, whole milk, ice cream, and whipped cream aren’t really on the list of the world’s healthiest foods, are they? While the dairy does provide calcium, the excessive amount of sugar and fat means this is a treat that should be consumed in moderation.

If you’re vegan or lactose intolerant, feel free to use plant-based alternatives for the dairy. Oreos are vegan.

Marvelous Milkshake Variations Made Simple

Want to tweak this recipe and give it a little flair? Try adding a tablespoon of peanut butter for a rich, nutty taste. Actually, any nut or seed butter would work just fine. You could also replace half of the milk with coffee for a mocha twist. And how about adding some mint extract for a more refreshing, vibrant flavor? Chocolate lovers can also consider adding a tablespoon or two of chocolate syrup or cocoa powder for even more chocolaty goodness!

How To Make Ahead And Store

This milkshake is best served fresh. If stored in the fridge, the shake will lose its signature creamy texture as the ice cream melts.
