Courtney Yost is a classically trained chef and food writer with ten years of professional culinary experience. She holds an Associate of Science in Baking and Pastry from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute, where she won a baking competition scholarship. She also holds a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
Throughout her career, Courtney has worked across bakeries, schools, and hotels, including plating pastries for fine-dining restaurants at a Forbes five-star, five-diamond resort. Broadening her expertise beyond pastry, she took on a savory cooking role in 2021, eventually advancing to the position of Lead Chef.
