- 1 cup vegan mayonnaise or dairy-free yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup dill pickles finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons shallots minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine vegan mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped dill pickles, chopped fresh dill, minced shallots, lemon juice, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.

- Stir the mixture well and adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice according to taste.

- Refrigerate the tartar sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.
