Ingredients
For The Strawberry Daiquiri Layer:
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 ounce light rum
- 2 ounces fresh strawberries or strawberry purée
- 1 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 ounce simple syrup
For The Piña Colada Layer:
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 ounce light rum
- 1 ounce cream of coconut
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
For Optional Garnish:
- Pineapple slices, fresh strawberries, cocktail umbrella
Instructions
Mix The Strawberry Daiquiri:
- Add 1/2 cup of ice, 1 ounce light rum, strawberries, lime juice, and simple syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the strawberry daiquiri mixture into a separate container and place it in the freezer while preparing the next layer. Rinse or clean the blender thoroughly to remove any remaining strawberry residue.

Mix The Piña Colada:
- Add 1/2 cup fresh ice, 1 ounce light rum, cream of coconut, and pineapple juice to the clean blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Assemble The Drink:
- Pour the strawberry daiquiri mixture into a chilled hurricane glass until it’s halfway full.

- Slowly pour the piña colada layer over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect, or swirl gently for a marbled look.

Garnish And Serve:
