Ingredients
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick
- 1 large egg beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and setting a wire rack on top.
- In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and black pepper.

- Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

- Transfer the seared pork chops to the prepared wire rack and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
