Ingredients
- 24 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs gluten-free, if needed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour gluten-free, if needed
- Marinara sauce for serving
Instructions
- Unwrap all the mozzarella sticks. Whisk the eggs in a medium bowl.

- Combine the bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, and salt in a Ziploc bag and shake to combine.
- Spread the mixture onto a large, rimmed plate. Finally, spread the flour onto a large, rimmed plate.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Cover one mozzarella stick in flour. Dip it into the egg, shaking off any excess.

- Using your other dry hand (it's essential to keep one hand dry), cover the mozzarella stick in the breadcrumb mixture and place it on the pan. Repeat with all sticks.
- Freeze for 2 hours.
- Once ready, heat the oven to 400°F and bake the sticks directly from the freezer for 8-10 minutes, until they are soft but still hold their shape.

- Serve immediately with marinara sauce and enjoy!
