Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 medium yellow onions finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Chopped chives for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden brown and caramelized, about 25-30 minutes.

- In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, softened cream cheese, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth.

- Fold the caramelized onions into the cream mixture until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.

- Serve the onion dip garnished with chopped chives, if desired, alongside your favorite chips or vegetable sticks.
