Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups M&M's
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in the oats and M&M's until well combined.

- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
