Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 1/4 cups quick-cooking oats
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, salt, and cocoa powder.

- Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Let it boil for 1 minute without stirring.

- Remove from heat. Immediately add peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth. Stir in the oats until well combined.

- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Let cool until set, about 15 to 20 minutes.
