Ingredients
- 4 slices leftover meatloaf
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons butter softened
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- Sliced tomato
- Lettuce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the meatloaf slices in the skillet and cook until warmed through and lightly browned, about 3 minutes per side.

- Spread one side of each slice of bread with mayonnaise and the other side with butter. Place 4 slices of bread, buttered-side down, in the skillet.

- Top each slice of bread with a slice of cheese, a slice of warmed meatloaf, tomato slices, and lettuce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

- Place the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered-side up. Grill the sandwiches until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 2-4 minutes per side.

- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
