- 1 3/4 ounces dark chocolate chopped
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- Sugar-free powdered sweetener to taste
Instructions
- In the microwave, melt the chocolate and butter in 20-second increments, stirring between cooking times until smooth. Set aside and partially cool.

- In a bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the heavy cream, cocoa powder, and powdered sweetener, adjusting sweetness as needed. Stop mixing once it is slightly thickened.

- Gently mix the chocolate mixture into the cream mixture, then use an electric mixer to beat the mousse until soft peaks form.

- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
