Instant Pot Pinto Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound dry pinto beans
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 small yellow onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Rinse the pinto beans in a mesh strainer, removing any debris or stones.

  • Add the rinsed beans, water, diced onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, and black pepper to the Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
