Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz. Irish whiskey (Jameson is ideal)
  • 1/2 oz. peach schnapps
  • 1/2 oz. sour mix
  • splash Sprite

Instructions

  • Fill a mixing shaker with ice. Pour in the whiskey, schnapps, and sour mix.
  • Shake the mix for 15–20 seconds to ensure it's well combined and chilled.
  • Strain the mix into a shot glass, leaving some room at the top. Fill with a splash of Sprite for extra fizz.

Notes

  • You can make your own sour mix by combining 1 part lemon juice, 1 part lime juice, and 2 parts simple syrup.
  • Freeze your glasses ahead of time to ensure the shots are sufficiently chilled.
  • Choose a blended whiskey (e.g. Canadian or American), as opposed to scotches, bourbons, which may bear too bold a taste.
