Ingredients

  • 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 large egg beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Divide the pizza dough into 8 equal portions.

  • Roll each portion into a 5-inch square. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each square, leaving a border. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.

  • Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket. Seal edges with a fork. Brush with beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
