Crispy golden Halloumi Fries served with red dipping sauce and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour plus more if needed
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese cut into sticks
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for optional garnish)
  • Preferred sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs.

  • Pat the halloumi sticks dry. Dredge each stick in flour, dip it in the egg, and then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs, shaking off excess.

  • Arrange the coated halloumi sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the coating is golden and crispy. Sprinkle the fries with parsley if using and serve with your desired dipping sauce.
