Ingredients
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour plus more if needed
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 8 ounces halloumi cheese cut into sticks
- Fresh parsley chopped (for optional garnish)
- Preferred sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs.

- Pat the halloumi sticks dry. Dredge each stick in flour, dip it in the egg, and then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs, shaking off excess.

- Arrange the coated halloumi sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the coating is golden and crispy. Sprinkle the fries with parsley if using and serve with your desired dipping sauce.
