Ingredients
- 3 large ripe avocados
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
For The Sauce:
- 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled
- 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini
- 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium chicken broth depending on desired thickness
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Peel the garlic clove, and cut the top off. Rub the cut part of the garlic all over the cut sides of the avocados.

- Mix the olive oil and lemon juice in a small bowl, and brush over the avocados. Sprinkle with salt.

- Place the cut side of the avocados down on the grill, and cook until grill marks form, about 5-6 minutes.
- Place the feta cheese into a small microwave-safe bowl, and microwave until it begins to warm and soften, about 10-15 seconds. Transfer it to a small food processor and blend it with the remaining sauce ingredients. You'll need to stop and scrape down the sides while blending to make sure everything gets smooth and creamy. Season to taste with salt.
- Drizzle the sauce evenly across the grilled avocados, squeeze fresh lemon juice over top (optional), and enjoy eating them right out of the shell!
