Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 shallot, minced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer, working in batches if necessary, and sear until browned on all sides, about 1-3 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Remove from the skillet temporarily.

- Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and minced shallot. Cook until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.

- Return all steak bites to the skillet, toss in the garlic butter to coat evenly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
