Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 pound button mushrooms cleaned and stems trimmed
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, buttermilk, and egg until smooth.
