Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- Red pepper flakes to taste
- 2 green onions thinly sliced, for garnish
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; add olive and chili oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

- Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-8 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture into the skillet with the turkey and stir well. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

- Remove from heat. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot over cooked rice.
