Ingredients

  • 6 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar or 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until light and creamy.
