Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large whole-wheat flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato sliced
- Pickle slices optional
- Additional ketchup mustard, or mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

- Place lean ground beef in the skillet. Cook it while breaking it apart with a spoon until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if needed.

- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to blend flavors. Remove from heat.

- Heat the flour tortillas in a skillet or microwave until they become pliable.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the center of each tortilla. Spoon an even portion of the beef mixture over the cheese.

- Add shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and, if desired, pickle slices on top of the beef.

- Drizzle additional ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise over the fillings if you like.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to secure the wrap.

- Heat a nonstick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down on the skillet. Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.

- Remove from skillet. Slice each wrap in half if desired and serve warm.
