Ingredients

  • 4 6-ounce cod fillets
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and kosher salt to create the blackening spice blend.
