Ingredients
- 8 ounces lo mein noodles
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- Crushed red pepper flakes to taste
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger minced
- 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, beef broth, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, honey, cornstarch, and sesame oil until smooth. Set aside.

- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.

- Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Add broccoli florets and continue to cook until they are bright green and tender, about 4 minutes.

- Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring until the sauce thickens and everything is well coated.

- Add the cooked noodles, toss everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

- Serve warm, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
