Ingredients
- 4 filet mignon steaks 1 1/2 inches thick
- Kosher salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Season steaks with salt and pepper. Wrap a slice of bacon around the sides of each steak, securing with a toothpick if necessary.

- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

- Place the bacon-wrapped steaks in the skillet. First, cook the sides with the bacon, turning every 20-30 seconds until all of the bacon is crispy.

- Then, cook the top and bottom of the steaks for about 4-6 minutes per side or until the desired doneness is reached.

- Remove steaks from skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
