Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • Hot sauce optional

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
