Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole-grain bread
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 lemon juiced
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1 slice cooked bacon chopped
  • Diced tomatoes for optional garnish
  • Crumbled cheese for optional garnish (such as goat cheese or feta cheese)

Instructions

  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the bread in the skillet and toast for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden and slightly crisp.
