Ingredients
- 2 nori sheets
- 2 1/2 cups sushi rice cooked, seasoned, and cooled to room temperature
- 2 ripe avocados cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
- Soy sauce for serving
- Wasabi for serving
- Pickled ginger for serving
Instructions
- Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread a thin layer of sushi rice on the nori, leaving a small space at the top.

- Flip the nori so the rice is facing down and place avocado slices in the center. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.

- Sprinkle the roll with roasted sesame seeds, then slice into 6 pieces using a wet knife. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
