Ingredients
- 1 medium avocado ripe
- 4 slices bread
- 2-3 slices Monterey Jack cheese
- 2-3 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter softened
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and slice it thinly.

- Butter one side of each bread slice. Place two slices, butter-side down, in a cold pan.

- Layer Monterey Jack cheese, avocado slices, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese on the bread in the pan.

- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up. Turn the heat to medium and cook until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted, flipping once.
