Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 6 tablespoons salted butter cold and cubed,
- 3/4 cup cold buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

- Cut in 6 tablespoons of cold, cubed butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized butter pieces.

- Gently stir in the cold buttermilk just until a thick dough forms, being careful not to overmix.

- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Knead 6-7 times, then shape into a 1 1/2-inch-thick circle. Cut out biscuits with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.

- Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Place biscuits 2 inches apart in the basket. Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

- Brush the melted butter over the hot biscuits before serving.
