Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • Cut in 6 tablespoons of cold, cubed butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized butter pieces.

  • Gently stir in the cold buttermilk just until a thick dough forms, being careful not to overmix.

  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Knead 6-7 times, then shape into a 1 1/2-inch-thick circle. Cut out biscuits with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.

  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Place biscuits 2 inches apart in the basket. Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
