Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and diced
- 3 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 head butter lettuce or romaine lettuce large leaves separated
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.

- Add garlic, onion, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

- Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger. Add water chestnuts and green onions. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

- To serve, spoon several tablespoons of the turkey mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf. Wrap and enjoy!
